Her name is Miss Gwen, and we launched her at Bladensburg Waterfront Park on Saturday at about quarter to ten in the morning.
She rolled down into the water as easy as you please.
I fumbled around, trying to learn how to row her. I’m going to need a lot of practice.
But she and I both survived our first day on the water together. May we have many more such days.

This is great – I loved the in-depth build log. I’m looking at building a Summer Breeze myself, but I don’t think that I’ll be putting nearly as much detail into it.
